Project Spotlight: Sacha Jacq Interiors
Tell us about your business and this project:
Sacha Jacq Interiors is a full-service construction management company run by award winning British designer Sacha Jacq. The company specializes in residential interior design and construction management from inception to completion. This project was the renovation of one of our favorite client’s houses, whom we have worked with on five of their homes.
What were the client’s needs and how did you meet them?
For this project at our client’s 200-acre estate outside Boston, we were transforming many areas of this majestic house—from the kitchen, library sitting room, dining room, 3 bathrooms, as well as the creation of the master suite, pool, and pool house.
What or who was your design inspiration?
For the tired kitchen we wanted to recreate a classic English farmhouse aesthetic with contemporary elements for a more “heart of the home” setting.
What was your favorite part of designing this project?
The joy for me is the same with every project, as I am invited and responsible for creating a better environment in which our clients will live and create memories within the home.
What was a challenge that you faced along the way?
Luckily this project proved to have no challenge in the kitchen design as we were fortunate to have an open client, good footprint, very good cabinet maker onboard and only used the best possible quality products.
What was your process for selecting the hardware for this project?
Hamilton Sinkler was the obvious choice for this project as I was looking for quality hardware in a classic farmhouse style and Hamilton Sinkler fit the bill in every way.
What appealed to you in your selection of Hamilton Sinkler hardware?
The quality of the product and how it feels in your hand is synonymous to the Hamilton Sinkler brand. We selected the classic bin pulls, knobs, and complementary appliance pulls. The client fell in love with the added hammered finish we proposed to complete this striking look.
